Two Down

As another quarter passes by, I learned a lot from defining HTML, recognizing web standards, and constructing HTML files using HTML tags during the second quarter of the school year 2021-2022 in ICT. In this another chapter, I encountered couples of problem in the amount of work that is needed to be done and that I’d always need someone to guide me through my first preliminary steps in encoding HTML tags, which were new to me. Moving on, I overcame these issues by making an effort to learn and evaluate the use of HTML elements, as well as becoming more aware of what I'm typing so that I don't make any mistakes. Because life is full of challenges, I will continue to learn new things and overcome any difficulties that may arise in the future. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cornerstoneautomail.com%2Fquarter-2&psig=AOvVaw3x8S0qzMew4mkKUM-Jnbum&ust=1642557339548000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAsQjRxqFwoTCPio6oqZuvUCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD

VIVA VIGAN BINATBATAN FESTIVAL

The Binatbatan Festival of the Arts is one of Vigan City's most anticipated events, as it includes a variety of activities, contests, and opportunities for Biguenos to demonstrate their artistic abilities. Binatbatan Street Dancing, The Kalesa Parade, Abel Fashion Shows, and other exciting events are held during this period, but this year, because the pandemic is still ongoing and the number of people infected with COVID-19 continues to rise, it made celebrating this festival a challenge for locals. However, Vigan City Officials came up with creative ways for us to continue to celebrate this festival. Some events, such as the Binatbatan Street Dance Competition, were held online, while others, such as the Abel House D e cor Contest, were held in Calle Crisologo, but with strict implementation of health protocols.  Because of the epidemic, we didn't get to celebrate the Binatbatan Festival this year like we used to, but we must remember to prioritize our own health first, especi...

New Year

A lot of people are thinking about their New Year's resolutions at this time of year. This is the year they hope to make a name for themselves. Big changes are desired. They want to do something bold. They aim to have the best year of their lives this year. They're aiming for a historic victory.  New year, that doesn't mean you have to change for the better; it simply means you have to be a better version of yourself. I need to make up for my flaws and excel in all I do. I promised myself that I would do all in my power to avoid doing anything terrible. I will do whatever makes me happy and will not be influenced by the opinions of others. Even when I fail, I will keep going and moving forward, using my setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. I will always be grateful for the little things in life and remember to thank God first before anything else. This year, I'll adore myself even more than before.  Over the years, I've lived my life with pleasing others, to...

Christmas During Pandemic

How does one celebrate Christmas this year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic? This would probably be one in contemporary history when we are encouraged to celebrate the Christmas season in its essence, in its simplicity. COVID spreads through social gatherings, and we are particularly vulnerable during the holidays, Christmas this year with only members of the family who are living in the same household, when we are tempted to leave our core bubbles to visit others. We must, however, avoid this temptation and be secure at home this holiday season. This year has been difficult for all of us but we cling to Hope. That amidst all of the confusion and fear that the pandemic has brought, God is with us, has always been and will always be with us. Even though this holiday season will be unique and difficult for many, we can rest assured that the sacrifices we make now will safeguard us, our loved ones, and our communities. https://www.google.com/search?q=christmas+during+pandemic&tbm=is...

"New Normal"

COVID-19 affects all of us, no matter how old we are. Like with everyone, not every child reacts the same way. Some children might not be very concerned, whereas others develop unpleasant feelings. Like adults, children also have different personalities and levels of resilience, which affects our wellbeing. Some children might develop higher levels of stress, feeling restless or grumpy. Some might develop anxiety and become irritable, aggressive or scared. Depending on how long the situation lasts, feelings of sadness or depression could appear, which could lead to social withdrawal or crying. All these feelings can also display in physical reactions including stomachaches, headaches, or loss of appetite. COVID-19 has wreaked havoc across the world and like any critical sector, education has been hit hard. Students, schools, colleges and universities have been deeply impacted. The world has changed because of the COVID- 19 epidemic. Today's education is not a process of obtai...
